About the event
Please join us at Passage this Saturday, 17 May, from 6:30PM - 8PM for a performance and artist talk with exhibiting artists Amrita Hepi and Althea Tennant.
From 6:30PM, guests are invited into Passage to watch the sister artists’ perform within The Family Lexicon (a bone to pick). What is described by the artists as a rehearsal for being together, the performance features Amrita and Althea reading a co-written text aloud from within the installation, weaving their voices through the space as a live activation of the work.
Following the performance, Amrita and Althea will be in conversation with Passage Co-Director Marco Rinaldi to unpack the making of the work.
This is both a deeply personal conversation between siblings and an open invitation to reflect on how meaning is shaped within our closest relationships.
