Please join us for an artist talk by renowned Australian artist Patricia Piccinini on Sunday 8 March at 2PM.

Patricia Piccinini is one of Australia’s most internationally recognised contemporary artists, known for her hyperreal sculptural works that explore biotechnology, evolution and the ethics of care. Her practice has been presented in major institutions globally, and she represented Australia at the Venice Biennale in 2003. Across more than three decades, Piccinini has developed a distinctive visual language that brings together the uncanny and the tender, challenging audiences to reconsider what is natural, what is artificial and how we choose to care for the worlds we create.

In ‘Centrifugal Love Garden’, Piccinini brings together key strands of her practice, reimagining the natural within the conditions of the contemporary world and foregrounding connection as a generative force.
